Debra directs all compilation of employment data collected for ABA, NALP and US NEWS and assists with employer outreach and market information for employment opportunities for students and alumni at the Center for Career and Professional Development.  She also reviews and approves CLE programs and assists in complying with student Professional Development requirements at the law school.  For the first ten years of her legal career, Debra practiced in both large and small New York City based firms, concentrating in corporate transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings, and private equity and venture capital transactions.  Thereafter, she moved her practice to Dutchess County and expanded her corporate practice to include not-for-profit corporation law, real property law, and trusts and estates.  She is the CLE Director for the Board of Directors of the Mid-Hudson Women’s Bar Association of State of New York and is a Leadership Dutchess graduate of the Class of 2013.  She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Dutchess County Performers, Inc. and chairs its Fundraising Committee.  Debra earned her B.A. in Business (Finance and Marketing) from the University at Albany and her J.D. from Albany Law School, where she was a member of Albany Law Review.
