Access Policy

Due to the pandemic, the Law Library will only be open to current students, faculty, staff, and alumni. We regret that members of the public, Metro and Waldo members, and law students from other law schools will not be able to use the Law Library until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Access Policy

Alumni

Free access to the library is available to all Pace graduates. Pace Law grads may also bring an associate or research assistant with them. Alumni ID cards entitle the patron to use all of the Law Library's facilities other than the Computer Labs and study rooms.  There are four public access computers available to the public; all other computers are restricted to Pace Law student use. Alumni card holders may not borrow materials. Access to Pace Law Library does not include access to Pace wifi; alumni should contact Alumni Services for access to wifi. Pace Law Library rules and policies may be found on our website.

A Pace Alumni ID card, with photo and a valid sticker, is necessary to access the Pace Law Library and Pace University's libraries. Pace Law School alumni may obtain a Pace Alumni ID Card by filling out a patron information form available at the circulation desk of the Pace Law Library in the Gerber Glass Law Center and providing valid identification. Alumni must bring the completed form to the ID Office to receive the actual card.  The ID Office is located on the first floor of Aloysia Hall. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Alumni will need to provide proof of vaccination or a recent negative test result in order to access campus. They will also need to complete health screening through Teamworks on the day of their visit.

Public Access

The Pace Law Library is currently closed to members of the public, with the exception of the federal depository collection.

Members of the public may use federal government depository materials in the Law Library for free when a reference librarian is present in the library, but may not use any non-depository collections other than indexes to aid in finding government documents. Patrons are not permitted to use the computer labs, study rooms, or Gerber Glass second and third floor study spaces. There are four public access computers available to the public; all other computers are restricted to Pace Law student use. Users will not be able to borrow the materials. Access to Pace Law Library does not include access to Pace wifi. Pace Law Library rules and policies may be found on our website.
