“These numbers demonstrate that Haub Law’s unique approach of providing a rigorous curriculum and practice-based learning opportunities gives students marketable skills that will get them high-quality legal jobs,” said Dean David Yassky. “Our students can feel confident that after studying here, they will graduate ready to put their legal skills to good use.”

More than 90% of the Class of 2016 is employed and more than 82% of the class is employed in positions where a JD degree is required or preferred. These employment numbers are the latest success for Haub Law. Over the past five years, Haub Law’s employment rate has improved more than any other law school in the nation.  The Law School also recently jumped 16 places in the latest “U.S. News and World Report” rankings.

“The Center for Career and Professional Development’s work to counsel students one on one and partner with them on their job search helps ensure that they launch meaningful legal careers,” said Jill Backer, Assistant Dean for Career and Professional Development. “We are so pleased that so many of our alumni are employed and practicing law. We look forward to achieving even greater successes in the year ahead.”

Results were reported to the American Bar Association earlier this month and were posted to school websites last week.
