Theresa Prestopino

Theresa Prestopino joined Pace University in 2006 after 12 years of corporate finance experience in multiple Fortune 50 companies.  She held finance planning and analysis positions in Kraft International and Kraft Foods NA as well as Altria.  She joined Pace University in 2006 in the Central Planning and Budget department where she was responsible for the University HR position control salary budget, the University Facilities budget and the University Capital budget including IT and physical plant.  In 2008, she joined Pace Law School as Director of Law Finance.  Since July, 2009, she has been serving as the Law School’s Assistant Dean of Finance and Human Resources. 

At Haub School of Law, Theresa is responsible for overseeing the law operating revenue and expense budget including forecasts for enrollments, aid and net revenue.  She approves all finance-related transactions in the Pace administrative systems.  She helps oversee law temporarily restricted funds, endowment accounts and grants budgeting. Theresa also works closely with Haub Law’s three Centers.  Reporting to the Dean, Ms. Prestopino assists with law faculty administrative work, including the work of the Associate Deans.  She is law school liaison with the Dean for matters pertaining to the University HR Office.  She assists with various annual reporting, including to the ABA and for US News and World Report. She is Law School liaison for the work of several University Committees including Budget Committee, Tuition & Pricing Committee, Benefits Advisory Committee and Talent Development Committee.  She works closely with the AVP, Academic Finance and AVP, Planning & Budget.   

Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and minor in Criminal Justice from Mercy College (Dean’s List).  She graduated Delta Mu Delta from Long Island University and holds an MBA in Finance.
