Brizeyda Parada Umana selected as a 2018 Immigrant Justice Corps Fellow

Brizeyda Parada Umana was selected as a 2018 Immigrant Justice Corps Fellow. She will be working with Catholic Legal Services of Miami where she will provide immigration legal services to asylum-seekers, unaccompanied minor children, and immigrant survivors of domestic violence detained at the Broward Transitional Center. As noted on the IJC’s website, “Each year IJC awards Justice Fellowships to 25 recent law graduates and law clerks from around the country – individuals with tremendous talent, promise, and a demonstrated commitment to providing legal services for low income people and for immigrants.” Congratulations, Brizeyda!
