On Thursday, March 14, Barbara Roper, Director of Investor Protection for the Consumer Federation of America, testified before the Subcommittee on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship and Capital Markets of the U.S House Committee on Financial Services. Attached to her written testimony as Appendix D is a position paper Professor Jill Gross wrote for the event, which is specifically referenced in the text of her written testimony on p. 8. Additionally, Ms. Roper also specifically mentions Professor Gross and the position paper during her oral testimony (around the 1 hour and 36 minute mark), in response to a question from Representative Sherman.
