Alumni Association Update
The Alumni Association’s Board of Directors held their first regular meeting of the school year on Wednesday, September 12, kicking off what promises to be an exciting year.
The Board is pleased to welcome two new officers to the Executive Committee: Lisa Gladwell was elected Vice President and Patricia Bisesto was elected Secretary. Also, in recognition of years of dedicated service, the Board voted to honor Carole Levy with the title of Director Emerita.
As previously announced, the Board has established an operating account to support alumni activities as well as the creation of an alumni scholarship. The account will be funded by voluntary contributions from the Directors as well as other alumni, and a link has been created to facilitate online contributions – click here.
Not only is the Board implementing an operating budget for the first time in years, we are also making a big push to add several enthusiastic alumni to the Board. Interested parties should get in touch with Michael Frankel, Chair of the Board's Nominating Committee, at frankelm@jacksonlewis.com. The deadline for submitting your resume for consideration is December 1. If you are eager to get involved and make a difference, please consider joining us.
The Board’s next regular meeting date will take place on Thursday, November 15. All are welcome.
