Ms. Pellegrino is an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Special Federal Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department, where she defends the City of New York and its employees in civil rights cases filed in federal court. Before joining the Law Department, Ms. Pellegrino graduated magna cum laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. While at Pace, Ms. Pellegrino was a member of the Environmental Law Review, the New York State Pro Bono Scholars Program, and the Federal Judicial Honors Program. In addition, Ms. Pellegrino served as a Research Assistant and a Dean's Scholar.
