WCBA selects two Haub Law alumni to co-chair its Environmental Law Committee

The Westchester County Bar Association announced that the Environmental Law Committee has welcomed new leaders. Both selected leaders are alumni of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Congratulations to incoming co-chairs Diana Bunin Kolev, Esq. and Nicholas Ward-Willis, Esq.  Additionally, Brianna Winning, a 3L at Haub Law will be assisting Diana and Nicholas. Diana and Nicolas’s term starts on May 1, 2021.

Diana Bunin Kolev, Esq., is a 2005 alumna of Haub Law. She is a member of the DelBello Donnellan Weingarten Wise & Wiederkehr, LLP Land Use and Zoning practice group. Ms. Kolev represents real estate owners, developers, businesses, and not-for-profit enterprises in all aspects of real estate development and litigates real estate and commercial disputes in state and federal court. She is also a member of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University Board of Visitors.

Nicholas Ward-Willis is a 1993 alumnus of Haub Law. He is a member of Keane & Beane, P.C. and he represents businesses, developers, individuals, property managers and public bodies in a variety of land use, real estate and environmental issues, ranging from commercial and real estate transactions to state and federal environmental litigation. Nick is the current Chair of the NYSBA Environmental & Energy Law Section and Past President of the White Plains Bar Association.

Haub Law student Brianna Winning is a member of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University Class of 2021. Brianna is currently the Vice Chair of the Pequannock Township Historic District Commission, a member of the Pequannock Township Historic Society Board of Trustees and a Director at Large of the Alumni Association of the College of Saint Elizabeth and University. Upon graduation, Brianna is hoping to practice land use law and/or historic preservation law.

U.S. World and News Report recently ranked the environmental law program at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law #1 again in their latest rankings.
