Diana studied her first degree in law in Mexico City, where she worked mostly in corporate law, international contracts and legal consulting for business development and entrepreneurship with a vast experience in Franchise Law and Master Franchise Agreements, as well as any other international master contracts.

After coming to the United States to work on her LLM and JSD (Juris Scientiae Doctor) from Washington University, she started working on International Human Rights and Migration, the research topic of her doctoral dissertation was: Laws, Policies and Responses for Unaccompanied Minors at the Border: “The Need for Reform, Promotion and Protection of International Human Rights in the United States of America.“

She was the Law School Director at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico City from 2014 to 2017.
