Adjunct Professor Terence McLaughlin (“Terry”) is a Partner in the Business Litigation Department at Morrison Cohen LLP with offices in Manhattan, NY. As a practicing commercial litigator, Terry has over 20 years of experience representing financial and professional institutions, hedge funds, corporations, senior business executives, lenders, borrowers and myriad other business parties in a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters. Terry’s broad commercial litigation experience encompasses derivative and direct litigation on behalf of private equity sponsors and other corporate clients; inter-creditor and/or financing disputes; ownership and management disputes, particularly within small or closely-held companies; real estate-related disputes; defense of corporate officers, directors and/or other fiduciaries in disputes implicating their duties and conduct; and all manner of contractual disputes as to complex commercial transactions in state and federal courts alike. Terry joined Morrison Cohen LLP in 2012. Prior to that, Terry was a Partner in the Litigation Department at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, where he began his career over twenty years ago.
