Marc Fernich practices criminal defense and civil litigation, focusing on sophisticated appeals and legal motions. A Northwestern Law graduate, Fernich has written and argued in courts across the country, including the U.S. Supreme Court and New York’s top court, the Court of Appeals. He represents individuals and businesses implicated in crimes of all stripes. Outside the office, Fernich taught at Brooklyn Law School and chairs a friend‑of‑court committee for a statewide criminal bar group, filing public interest briefs on behalf of defense lawyers and their clients. Regularly appearing in the media as an expert legal analyst, Fernich’s writings have been cited authoritatively in judicial opinions and prestigious academic journals. The Institute of Jewish Humanities named him its Criminal Lawyer of 2014.
