Professor Carroll has over 30 years experience in Criminal Law trial advocacy as both a prosecutor and defense attorney in both State and Federal Courts. During his career he served as an Assistant District Attorney in Westchester County and Bronx County including positions such as Deputy Chief of the Supreme Court Trial Division and Deputy Chief of the Criminal Courts Trial Division. During his career he handled a complete range of Criminal Law cases including homicide, ‘white collar’ crimes, public corruption, securities frauds and tax frauds. Professor Carroll has lectured on various aspects of Criminal Law trial advocacy at law schools, prosecution and defense organizations, and law enforcement agencies.
