Climate Change & Insurance Law (LAW 913A)

This course examines the ways that global climate change has affected the insurance industry.  Key topics will include the nature and purpose of insurance, insurance trends, and types of environmental insurance policies for global climate change.  Emphasis will be placed on environmental insurance cases involving climate change related risks and losses.  Reinsurance also will be covered.
