As a part of Pace’s dynamic Center for Environmental Legal Studies and FGV’s Research Center in Environmental Law, BAILE is dedicated to exploring and deepening the connections between Brazil and the United States and to aiding both countries’ efforts to tackle environmental challenges.

This website will provide you with information on upcoming and past conferences and symposia on a variety of topics, graduate and faculty collaborative opportunities here in the United States and Brazil, announcements and news items tracking our activities, pending and completed publications, and our annual summer courses along with the ability to register for these events. The goal is to create enduring relationships among Brazilian and American legal professionals – relationships focused not just on environmental law but on all areas of law that impact our environment.
