John C. Lettera, Esq. ‘99

John Lettera has over 13 years of legal experience and is a member of the New York State Bar and admitted to practice law in the State of New York.  In 2011, he co-founded the LMA Law Group LLP.  The LMA Law Group LLP (“LMA”) has a strong reputation for excellence in construction law and litigation, real estate development and finance, corporate law, family matters and divorce and is recognized for its dominance in industries at the forefront of innovation, including art finance, factoring and asset based lending, technology and strategic outsourcing.  Prior to founding LMA, John was an Associate at the law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP.  Subsequent to this, John was an avid investor investing predominately in real estate and venture capital.  John is also an owner in Funding America LLC, a leading company in the lawsuit funding business and LMA Partners LLC, a commercial real estate lender and advisory firm providing bridge, mezzanine and equity financing. 

John is a graduate of the College of Mt. St. Vincent/Manhattan College and the Pace University School of Law.  As an alumnus of Pace Law School, John strongly believes in giving back to the Law School and helping future generations of students.  John is also an adjunct Professor of Law at Pace Law School, teaching corporate finance.

Anthony G. Piscionere, Esq. ‘80

Tony Piscionere began his 32-year legal career after graduating from Pace University School of Law in 1980.  He was part of Pace Law School’s second graduating class and is admitted to practice in New York State as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.  Tony began working as a Westchester County Assistant District Attorney in 1980.  After leaving the DA’s office in 1983, Tony started his own practice of law in Yonkers, NY.  He practiced as a solo practitioner until 1987 when he and Jeryl Nemarow, a Rye attorney, were married.  Together they founded the firm of Piscionere & Nemarow, P.C.  Their firm has focused on litigation in state and federal courts, including matrimonial, estate, corporate, criminal, and municipal litigation. 

Tony has also served as Counsel to the former Yonkers Real Estate Board, as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Italian Hospital Society, as Pro Bono Legal Counsel to assist in the prosecution of child abuse cases, and as Village Prosecutor for the Village of Port Chester.  He also serves as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of Rye.

Tony is a graduate of Fordham University with a B.S. in accounting.  Tony resides in Rye with his wife, Jeryl and his two daughters, Alexandra, a recent law school graduate, and Taylor, a third year law student at Pace.  Tony has always believed in mentoring aspiring attorneys as a way of giving back what he received from Pace; the spirit of goodness and generosity in the legal profession.
