LLM in Environmental Law - Specialization in Global Environmental Law
Our campus is located just north of New York City, giving students many opportunities to intern with international organizations, corporations, firms, and even Permanent Missions to the United Nations. We regularly host visiting scholars from around the world and offer students the chance to work on projects through our Brazil-American Institute for Law and the Environment and our China Programs.
The program of study features courses especially focused on focused on environmental law from an international, transnational or comparative perspective. They include:

- Comparative Environmental Law (Brazil) (2 credits)
- Environmental Law Seminar: Human Rights and the Environment (2 credits)
- Environmental Law Seminar: Law of Oceans and Coasts (2 credits)
- Guided Research (1 or 2 credits)
- Master of Laws in Environmental Law Thesis (6 credits)
