Public Interest Job Fairs
As a law student you should be aware that many schools and various organizations hold annual job and career fairs. These fairs are golden opportunities whether you are a new law student or about to graduate. In the past, many Pace students have obtained summer and permanent employment as a direct result of these job fairs. If you are interested in public service (e.g. governmental agencies, district attorney’s offices) or public interest (e.g. legal aid and legal services), then make plans to attend the following career fairs of which all Pace students and graduates can take advantage.
NYU Public Interest/Public Service Legal Career Symposium:
Early Registration is Closed. REGISTER NOW to participate in Table Talk!
February 4 & 5, 2016, New York University School of Law
The Symposium provides students from all area law schools with the opportunity to meet with representatives of public interest/service organizations both for formal interviewing and at informational tables. A variety of government, small firms and legal organizations conduct formal interviews. The informational tables are a great way to network and obtain information about the various employers.

- Free Interview Sign Up -- Feb. 1- Feb. 3, 2016 at 3pm (for early reg. students only)
- Interview Prep & Navigating the Career Fair Workshop -- Monday, Feb 1 @11am (Tudor Room)

- PILC Fair – February 4 & 5, 2016
As a reminder, the NYU Career Fair will take place at NYU School of Law on Thursday and Friday, February 4th and 5th, 2016.
Interview Schedule: We expect that initial interview selections will be available online by Saturday, January 30th check the Fair site for updates. Schedules do not become final until the day before the fair, due to the Alternate and Free Sign-Up process. If you are selected by an employer as an Alternate, you will automatically be moved into an available slot should one open that matched your availability.
- Free Sign-Up: Students not selected for an interview with an employer may still sign up for any last minute openings during the Free Sign-Up period, which begins on Monday, February 1st at 9am and ends on Wednesday, February 3rd at 3pm.
*We understand that students have classes scheduled on the days of the career fair and that you have decisions to make about how to manage your time. The PILC cannot advise students or answer specific questions regarding missing class in order to attend the fair. We suggest that you speak with your professors directly and follow each professor’s policy regarding excused absences.
