March 2015 Alumni Highlight

Pace West CoastPace West Coast

There is a consistent gathering of Pace Law alumni in San Francisco who all work on environmental law matters.  Included in that gathering there are a range of graduation years – from 2000 to as recent as last year, 2014.  There is also a range of environmental law experience – from private to public practice.  Jeffrey Odefey (’00) is Director of Clean Water Supply Programs at American Rivers; J. Kyle Nast (’04) is a Staff Attorney at California State Coastal Conservancy; Samuel L. Brown (’07) is a senior attorney at Hunton & Williams; Sarah (Olinger) Quiter (’07) is an associate at Meyers Nave; Steven C. Sarno (’09) is an associate at Beveridge & Diamond; Meghan A. Quinn (’13) is an associate at Adams Broadwell Joseph & Cardozo; and Nicole C. Sasaki (’14) is an associate attorney at San Francisco Baykeeper.  Amongst the many commonalities of this contingency, notably is the shared eagerness to be used as a resource on the west coast for any students who are interested in practicing in California after they graduate and any alumni looking to reconnect and network with fellow Pace Law grads.  As Sam Brown puts it – “We’re here to help!”
