SEATING AND TICKETS
The graduation ceremony is a special occasion for family and friends of the graduates and seating is designated primarily for them. Except for the graduates, there are no reserved seating areas. Graduates requiring special arrangements regarding the seating or line of march should contact Kay Longworth (914) 422-4360 or by e-mail at email@example.com.
In the event of rain, the ceremony will still take place on the Good Counsel Lawn. Space under the tent will be limited and limited to the graduates only.
GUESTS REQUIRING SPECIAL PARKING AND SEATING ACCOMMODATIONS
It is the responsibility of the graduates to inform us if a guest requires special arrangements regarding parking or seating. Our disabled parking is limited but Security will keep a list of those people that will need to be discharged at the Security booth so that they may easily navigate onto the lawn. The driver of the vehicle will then be instructed to follow the traffic flow to the parking areas.
If graduating students' family needs to obtain a Visa to attend the commencement ceremony please contact the Office of Student Services no later than April 1, 2012. We will provide the necessary forms and verify that that graduating students are a candidate for graduation.
Photographs will also be taken by a photographer during the commencement ceremony. The photographer will take individual photos of graduates as graduating students leave the stage. Proofs will be mailed with an order form and pricing information.
VIDEOTAPES OF CEREMONY
Video Magic, a local video company, will record the event and will sell the DVD’s for $40. You must place your orders directly with them. Graduating students will receive an order form with the graduation packet the day of cap and gown pick- up. Order forms will also be available the day of commencement.
