Specific Requirements for Graduate Degrees
All LLM degrees require 24 credits, toward which as many as 12 credits of advanced standing from another program may be granted.
Specific Requirements for LLM in Comparative Legal Studies:
- One LLM writing requirement
- Introduction to US Law, Legal Research & Legal Writing (4) (May be waived by the Graduate Dean for those who have covered virtually all the material.)
Specific Requirements for LLM in Environmental Law (traditional track):
- Two LLM writing requirements (may be combined into a 6 credit thesis)
- Environmental Skills/Clean Water Act (4)
- Environmental Survey (3) (May be waived by the Environmental Dean for those who have covered virtually all the material.)
Environmental Science for Lawyers (2) (May be waived by the Environmental Dean for those who have a strong science background.)
