Pace Law School welcomes visiting scholars from around the world.
Visiting scholars are selected from a group of applicants including prestigious law professors, researchers, legislators, judges, civil servants and others. During their visit, which may be anywhere from a few weeks to one year, they conduct specialized legal research as a member of the academic community at Pace Law School. In recent years, we have welcomed visiting scholars from Australia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Cameroon, China, Denmark, Germany, Honduras, Hungary, Kuwait, Lithuania, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Uganda, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Vietnam.
All visiting scholars are supervised by a Pace faculty member, who offers them support, feedback and overall guidance in their research. Subject to the terms of the Visiting Scholars Policy, they are given access to the Pace Law Library, as well as university internet access and e-mail. The Pace University Office of International Students and Scholars supports visiting scholars in their applications for the appropriate visas from the US immigration authorities. Pace also encourages visiting scholars to submit their work for publication in one of our student-edited Law Reviews.
