Graduate Program Staff

Gregory J. Marsden is the Director of International Affairs and Graduate Programs. Before coming to Pace, he was a faculty member and administrator at IE Law School (Instituto de Empresa) in Madrid, Spain. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine, and his JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid.

Jason J. Czarnezki is the Gilbert and Sarah Kerlin Distinguished Professor of Environmental Law and Executive Director of Environmental Law Programs at Pace Law School. Prior to joining the Pace Law faculty, Professor Czarnezki was Professor of Law in the Environmental Law Center at Vermont Law School and Faculty Director of the U.S.-China Partnership for Environmental Law. Professor Czarnezki received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Chicago.

Cynthia Pittson is the Head of Reference Services at Pace Law Library and an Adjunct Professor of Law.  She received her Bachelor's degree and MLS from Rutgers University. She graduated from the evening program at Pace Law School with her JD in 2003. Prior to coming to Pace in 2000, she worked for the HW Wilson Company, a database publisher in New York. She currently teaches Introduction to US Legal Writing and Research to our graduate students.

Laura Jensen is the Associate Director of Environmental Programs and an Adjunct Professor of Law. She graduated from Pace Law School with a dual JD/LLM in Environmental Law in 2012. She was the Center for Environmental Legal Studies Graduate Fellow from 2011-2012. She received her Bachelor's degree from Fordham University. She is a member of the State Bars of New York and New Jersey.

Deborah Zipf, a graduate of Middlebury College, is active in local non-profit advocacy organizations and city political groups. She comes to Pace from employment in the arts world and formerly managed her own business as a parliamentarian. Ms. Zipf supports our Graduate Program staff, coordinates admissions and generally ensures that the department functions smoothly.
