Janet B. Korins

Janet B. Korins specializes in federal income tax issues arising from complex business transactions, including real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions and corporate and partnership restructurings. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at Pace Law School and at Hofstra Law School. Previously she worked in private practice at major law firms in New York City, most recently as a partner at Proskauer Rose LLP. From 1999-2006, Ms. Korins was a member of the Executive Committee of the Tax Section of the New York State Bar Association, where she has co-chaired the Committee on Individuals, the Committee on Real Property and the Committee on Pass-Through Entities.
