Jamie J. Spannhake

Professor Jamie J. Spannhake graduated magna cum laude from Brooklyn Law School and clerked for the honorable Joel F. Dubina of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She was a litigation associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP (f/k/a LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP) in New York City, where she worked on a variety of matters including business torts, contract claims, federal securities claims, and lender liability matters, in federal and state courts, and before domestic and international arbitral tribunals. She also handled various criminal matters and animal law cases on a pro bono basis. Prior to teaching at Pace Law School, Professor Spannhake taught International Legal Writing and Moot Court at Brooklyn Law School. She has written articles in the areas of international law, securities law, and health, wellness, and time management for lawyers and law students. She has also served as a guest lecturer for various bar associations and organizations.
