Eylan Schulman

Professor Schulman began his legal career in 2004 as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department.  After one year in the Bronx Tort Unit, Professor Schulman spent four years in the Special Litigation Unit litigating high-exposure and high-profile cases against the City of New York from inception through resolution and was promoted to Senior Counsel.  In 2009, Professor Schulman became a Trial Attorney specializing in police misconduct cases in Bronx County.

In 2012, Professor Schulman was appointed as an Arbitrator by the New York State Department of Financial Services and resolves disputes between medical providers and insurance companies related to medical treatment.  In addition, Professor Schulman maintains a private law practice handling a variety of legal matters in New York City.

Professor Schulman has taught Trial Advocacy and Externship Seminars at St. John's University School of Law and coached numerous trial teams in national competitions.  At Pace Law School, he has assisted Professor Lou Fasulo and lectured in Advanced Trial Advocacy.
