After graduating from the University of Michigan Law School in 2003, Alissa Bauer was a litigation associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison LLP. During that time, Alissa defended two extensive securities fraud actions and an ERISA dispute, and she prosecuted a pro bono action on behalf of adults with mental illness. Alissa also clerked for the Honorable Cheryl L. Pollak and the Honorable Steven M. Gold in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. While at the University of Michigan Law School, she served as Contributing Editor for the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform and taught 90 upper-level students as a graduate student instructor.
