Alumni Benefits and Resources
Pace Law School graduates may continue an affiliation with Pace Law School through special benefits made possible by Pace Law School. Feel free to contact Pace Law School's Alumni Relations Office directly for any specific questions.
Pace Law School alumni are entitled to the following full range of benefits.
Alumni ID Card
Alumni may obtain a Pace Alumni ID Card, which gives access to the Pace Law Library and to all Pace University libraries, by filling out a patron information form available at the circulation desk of the Pace Law Library in the Gerber Glass Law Center and providing valid identification. Pace Law School alumni must then bring the completed form to the Pace OneCard ID Office.
Diploma Frames
Make your diploma stand out with an exclusive Pace University School of Law frame. Church Hill Classics offers custom diploma frames for Pace Law School alumni, as well as keepsakes, such as an engraved medallion desk box and paperweights. Framing Success also offers personalized Pace University School of Law diploma frames.
Employment Assistance
Alumni should feel free to contact the Center for Career and Professional Development for assistance in obtaining employment or advice regarding their career plans. The Center has professional career counselors, all of whom have legal experience. For more information about the alumni services at the Center for Career Development, visit www.law.pace.edu/career.
Continuing Legal Education
Pace Law School's Center for Continuing Legal Education offers courses that provide mandatory CLE credits. Alumni, individuals, and firms are able to join as Pace Bridge Members at a discounted price. For more information, visit www.law.pace.edu/ccle.
Course Offerings and Transcripts
Alumni may audit classes at Pace Law School for a fee of $60 per credit. Individuals may audit classes for a fee of $500 per credit. Class schedules are available via the Law School Registrar's Website three months before the semester begins. Transcripts are also available from the Law School Registrar. For more information, visit www.law.pace.edu/registrar.
Law Library Privileges
Once graduated, student Pace OneCard IDs no longer grant access to the Pace Law Library. With a Pace Alumni Card (see above on how to obtain one), all alumni have free reading and stack privileges. Alumni are not allowed borrowing privileges books from the Pace Law Library; alumni may obtain borrowing privileges and access to document delivery services by joining the Friends of the Law Library. Membership in Friends of the Law Library is free for all graduates for the remainder of the calendar year in which they graduated; after that, it is available to Pace Law School alumni for a nominal fee.
Merchandise for Alumni
In addition to academic books, school, and stationery supplies, the campus bookstore features a full line of Pace alumni merchandise including alumni mugs, sweatshirts, and t-shirts.
Online Community
The Pace Alumni Online Community is a free and secure forum, accessed via the Pace University website. The online community allows all Pace alumni (including Pace Law School alumni) from around the world to reconnect, exchange ideas, and network with each other over the Internet. Its features include a searchable database, the ability to update your own contact information, message boards, news, career resources, and more.
Permanent Email
Pace Law School alumni who graduated after 2010 will continue to have access to their Pace Law School email accounts. Pace Law School alumni who graduated prior to 2010 do not have access to their email accounts. Pace Law School alumni may obtain a free permanent email address that never expires or changes. Even during a job change or email provider change, the free permanent alumni email address remains the same. All that needs to be done is to change the forwarding email address. To obtain a free permanent email address, alumni must sign into the Pace Alumni Online Community (see above); once there, alumni can enter a preferred email name that will be the first part of the permanent email address (i.e. yourname@alumni.pace.edu).

LexisNexis and Westlaw
After graduation, Pace Law School students' LexisNexis and Westlaw accounts will continue to access the career databases for approximately one year, but otherwise will not be valid. Students who are studying for the Bar will also have five hours a month of access to Westlaw during June and July. For further information, please view Westlaw’s site by clicking here. Through the LexisNexis® ASPIRE (Associates Serving Public Interests Research) program, students whose law firm start dates have been deferred, and who pursue public service during the deferral period, will be able to access certain LexisNexis services free of charge. To be eligible for continued LexisNexis access, graduates must have accepted an Associate position at a law firm, but are (1) experiencing a deferred fall 2011 start date, and (2) taking on public interest work during their deferral period. Qualified students may register at www.lexisnexis.com/aspire to acquire access or by visiting www.lexisnexis.com/lawschool and clicking on the program advertisement. Please contact Mary Beth Drain at Marybeth.drain@lexisnexis.com or (800) 437-8674 x7862 with any questions about this program. Click here for more information on Lexis and WestLaw.
